Heal & Nourish | The True Food Summit

Introduction

In January of 2025, health, food, healing, and freedom leaders from across the country came together to Phoenix, Arizona to address the risks associated with our current food systems.

More importantly, they focused on solutions. New ways to farm. New ways to rebuild our soil. New ways to view the impact of high quality, non-toxic food on our children. Often, "new ways" meant rediscovering and repurposing natural developments and techniques observed in nature and employed by indigenous peoples.

Join us as we escape the summer heat and come together virtually with our host, Children's Health Defense, Arizona Chapter (CHDAZ), to learn from these esteemed speakers, including Joel Salatin, Zen Honeycutt, Mary Holland, John Klar, and more.

Course Overview

Course Modules

Module 1: “Big Food” Why Americans are Getting Sicker

Mary Holland, J.D.

Mary Holland is Chief Executive Officer of Children's Health Defense and has been active in the Health Freedom movement for over 20 years. She has focused on human rights through much of her career and previously lectured on the topic at Columbia Law School. Holland also directed the Graduate Lawyering Program at NYU School of Law for 15 years. With this foundational experience, it's no surprise that Mary and CHD oppose mandates.

Module 2: How the Sky Impacts our Food Supply

Dr. Henry Ealy

Dr. Henry Ealy is a Naturopathic physician and the Founder and Executive Community Director of the Energetic Health Institute (EHI). Dr.H has been teaching healers about the healing potential of our own bodies for over 25 years. You may also recognize Dr. H from Healing for the AGES along with Dr. Bryan Ardis, Dr. Ed Group, and Dr. Jana Schmidt. Among his initiatives is the COVID Grand Jury Team, and numerous written works. Never one to shrink away from controversy, Dr. H has a different focus on food in this lecture. How can we have healthy food if our skies and water are polluted? High energy and well substantiated, this presentation is an enlightening treatise on Geoengineering.

Module 3: A Farmer's Perspective

John Klar

John Klar is a farmer and attorney from Vermont. He turned to farming when overcome by Lyme Disease-induced fibromyalgia. His illness forced him to seek natural healing after modern medicine failed. John brings wit and vision to the plight of modern small farmers. He warns us to beware of the unelected demonic, industrialist, globalist, techno-scourge and points out that WEF is populated by the same companies (Bayer, Blackrock, Syngenta, etc.) determined to eliminate our way of life. John is the author of Small Farm Republic - Why Conservatives Must Embrace Local Agriculture, Reject Climate Alarmism, and Lead an Environmental Revival

Module 4: Disentangling from Food Orthodoxy

Joel Salatin

Joel challenges most of our preconceptions about food and farming. He is a prolific author and speaker, as well as farmer. You'll recall Joel's Polyface Farm from books and movies where he is featured as an American leader in regenerative agriculture. Opinionated and optimistic, Joel continues a tradition begun by his father, observing what works in a natural environment. He then mirrors those old, successful processes on his farm. Today, Joel shares the steps we need to take to "Disentangle from Food Orthodoxy." He says it's time to, "Simply quite belonging to the system…and come home."

Module 5: Grow Your Own Health | 5 Steps to Healthy Living from the Ground Up

Justin Rohner

Justin Rohner is the founder of Agriscaping | Elegant, Edible Landscaping. He applies his engineering expertise to the challenge of growing fresh food in Arizona. Jason eliminated his own health issues using his home grown 'Farmacy'. And he impressed his HOA with the value of chickens which he refers to as "ornamental jungle fowl." Justin's approach is that of taking responsibility with a focus on creative problem solving.

Module 6: Food Supply Expose: Empower Yourself with the Truth

Zen Honeycutt

Zen Honeycutt braved every kind of seasonal disruption and travel delays to join us in Phoenix for this event. As her book is titled, Zen is Unstoppable!Ms. Honeycutt founded Moms Across America 12 years ago and continues to serve as their Executive Director. Her personal charter is to be courageous, creative and contribute to the world. You probably know Moms Across America through their alarming reports on toxins in fast food and baby food. In this presentation, Zen shares the work of her organization and action steps we should take to ensure healthier food for our families.

Module 7: Gardening Outside the Box

Stephen Monroe

Stephen Monroe is an Arizonan who began farming during a move to Nicaragua and now operates in the Tucson area as The Rain Harvester. He is committed to improving the health of the land (regenerative) and considers his approach to be Permaculture because it builds on indigenous understanding. Stephen's primary focus at this time is harvesting rainwater and he uses a variety of approaches from underground ponds to cisterns.

Module 8: The Power to Heal is Yours & Final Wrap-Up

Robert Scott Bell

Robert Scott Bell is a well-recognized voice in the holistic and alternative health care movements. He is the man behind The Robert Scott Bell Show which is broadcast six days a week. In addition to his work as a Homeopath, RSB is an author and expert in silver and copper therapeutics.

Conclusion

This curriculum provides a wide-ranging introduction to the challenges and opportunities facing our food systems. It will provide you with an opportunity to establish the areas of interest most appealing to you, resources in that area, and a community with whom you can engage to further discuss the topics presented.
